Digital Marketing Executive – Temporary (12 months)

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join our rapidly growing Digital Marketing team at our Liverpool office on a temporary basis. We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in SEO, website administration, and the wider Digital Marketing field.

The role will be ideal for someone with a degree in Digital Marketing, or an equivalent qualification, such as Google’s "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing” or a Hubspot’s Digital Marketing Certificate. The role is also suitable for someone who has had a year of experience within a web administration role and wishes to expand their skills in Digital Marketing. A basic understanding of HTML & CSS will be required.

Primarily this role will be focused on managing multiple Google My Business listings (focus on Local SEO), website administration (of over 10 websites), some social media monitoring/ paid social advertising, and supporting the wider Digital Marketing team with day-to-day tasks as required.

The role is part-remote, with 2 days working from home a week.

Major Duties:

• Manage Google My Business listings

• Implement day-to-day website updates as and when required

• Understand and comfortably apply basic SEO principles (both content and technical)

• Attention to detail and proactive nature, helping to improve the overall website experience and satisfy stakeholders

• Comfortable with working with variety of digital channels, including email, social, web

• Use initiative in suggesting workable online campaigns or marketing actions that drive performance for our websites.

• Working with the Marketing team on specific email campaigns and supply tracking links etc

• Keep abreast of current trends in the student accommodation market and relevant competitors and suggest improvements to the website or content.

• Support the Sales and Marketing department as required

• Comply with Health and Safety working practice in accordance with the company’s policy

• To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues

In order for Homes for Students to work effectively, you may be required to assist with other areas of work and therefore, you should be prepared to undertake other duties appropriate to the post, as delegated by your line manager.
